MONTESSORI MEET IN THE MIDDLE: A New Retreat

For the first time, we are thrilled to offer a two-day retreat exclusively for Montessori educators! Take time to focus on yourself and recharge alongside fellow members of the Montessori community. Together, we’ll explore the natural beauty of Central California, enjoy mindfulness and yoga sessions, learn how to take better photographs, and creatively blend art and science through embroidery. We might even be able to fit in a glass of wine or two!

This retreat is for you if you are ready to:

  • Release the stress of the school year

  • Connect with nature and other Montessorians

  • Reconnect with your inner self

  • Find a new path for creativity and calm

  • Pack your hiking boots and yoga mat

This retreat is not for you if you want:

  • Professional development hours

  • A day of sitting in conference rooms being lectured at

  • A binder of paper you will bring to the classroom on Monday and never read again

ACTIVITIES

  • Hiking* (weather permitting, other activities will be substituted if it rains)

  • Embroidery

  • Yoga and mindfulness

  • Photography

  • Tea time

COST

  • $300 for non-members

  • $250 for individual members

  • $200 for school group members (applies if you are a member of the following schools:

Price includes 5 sessions, 2 light breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 1 tea break. Attendees are responsible for Saturday dinner, transportation, and lodging. Please bring your hiking boots and yoga mat.
